What’s a typical day like for you?
There are no typical days which is what I love about my life. My clients include corporate and academic institutions; I sometimes work from home and sometimes from a client’s workspace; I definitely don’t do rush hour!
What in your life is really important to you?
That has certainly changed over the years. These days relationships with family, friends, colleagues and professional associations are much more important. The other two things that are important to me are reading and travel.
What would you like to be remembered for?
People remember my Mum for being helpful, kind and dependable; I’d like to be remembered as positively as she is.
What role does fashion play in your life?
Gives my daughter something to roll her eyes at!
What do you love about shopping at Fresh Collective?
The clothes are comfortable, easy to care for and I loved the help in putting items together. I’ve been telling everyone about it.

What outfit did you enjoy the most from your shoot?
Everything with purple. And the outfits with blue. Okay, I can’t choose : )
You had all of these wonderful things happening this year: your information research biz for 25 years, your daughter turns 30 AND getting married… as well as you coming up to your 5th anniversary after your breast cancer diagnosis. What I want to know is how you find the time to do all that and be the wonderfully positive and energized gal that you are?
I’m flattered that you remember all the things I babbled about! I have an incredibly supportive circle of family, friends and colleagues which everything much easier to deal with.
What do you have that you want to promote?
Clinton Research will have been in business for 25 years in April 2017 and it’s been a fun learning experience along the way.
We provide information literacy workshops (how to find things online!) as well as background research, literature reviews and editorial services to academia, government organizations and private corporations and individuals in Canada, the United States and Europe.
Let me know if you would like a presentation to you local group or organization.
