What’s a typical day like for you?

Each day is different. It really depends on what needs to be accomplished. Most days involve the gym, sessions with my amazing clients, writing, meetings, learning, cooking, research and cuddles with my hubby and our royal cat Prince.

What in your life is really important to you?

That I live in an authentic way that is true to myself and the work I do. I don’t want to preach one thing to clients and the community while living in a way that isn’t in alignment. It’s also important to me to that I maintain the utmost integrity in my work. That’s really big for me.

Family, friends, community, and love are really important. It’s such an integral part of life, family and friends are what make up our support network and it’s important to have one.

Living my best life possible and being my best self. It’s so important to evolve and grow with time, that’s something I work on a little every day.

What would you like to be remembered for?

Ooh! Good question! I would love to be remembered for the work I do in the community, for facilitating healing in others, for being supportive, loving, honest and daring. I would love to be remembered for having a big heart and sharing that love with all.

What role does fashion play in your life?

I would love it to play a bigger role! I have loved fashion my whole life, ever since seeing a Vivienne Westwood runway show as a child.

It was only recently, within the past few years that I decided to step outside of my clothing comfort zone. I only used to wear black, blue, grey and white. Never bright colours or patterns. I felt comfortable that way. It’s not like that any more! I love clothes that make me excited, that are comfortable but also beautiful. It’s been a mission of mine to recreate my wardrobe to be a representation of the woman I am and the woman I’m working towards becoming!

What do you love about shopping at Fresh Collective?

That it’s a local company featuring local designers. I feel that it’s important to support local businesses, from food all the way to fashion. It’s sustainable and it’s the way that communities grow and flourish.

I also love that it’s a company for women of all shapes and sizes. It’s the worst feeling shopping in places that don’t cater to you. Growing up I felt that my long, voluptuous body was what was wrong, not where I was looking for clothes.

The norm that the fashion industry projects is not the norm in reality. We come in all sorts of shapes and sizes and that really should be celebrated. I really feel that Fresh Collective is a hub where all women are celebrated.

What do you have that you want to promote?

Of course, my amazing services! I offer a Health Coaching Program for those that need support in finding what works for them and their health. I offer Reiki, speaking of which I am currently offering a promotion to my subscribers to receive 20% off of Reiki treatments during the fall and winter (subscribe here).

I am incredibly happy to offer a Womb Wellness Program which is a 6 month program focused on healing the womb, the body and creating the life you dream of and also, Womb Wellness 101, an event series that empowers women to take a proactive approach towards their womb health and their overall health.

The next event happens on November 20th and is about simple ways to decrease and eradicate PMS naturally. There’s a lot of wonderful things happening!

Is there anything else we should know about you?

Maybe that I love shoes and tattoos! I have loved shoes for as long as I can remember. My absolute favourite shoe store is Irregular Choice. Tattoos are a way in which I document my journey through art, I’ve got quite the collection!
